Job Description:

As a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) or Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) at Venture West Aviation, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aspiring pilots. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting flight training and ground instruction for students pursuing various pilot certificates and ratings.
• Ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and excellence in flight instruction.
• Preparing students for FAA checkrides and exams.
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress and flight hours.
• Participating in safety meetings and continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

• Valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate.
• For CFII position: Valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) certificate.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category and class ratings.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous flight instruction experience preferred but not required.
